Description:
Turn a simple silverware knife into a cute birdhouse pendant. Silver-plated silverware requires special care. Learn the basics on how to up-cycle old, vintage or family heirloom silverware into a charming bird house pendant.
Students will Learn:
Learn to cut, drill, file, sand, polish and bend a silverware knife into a wearable, whimsical pendant.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Metal files, permanent marker (pointed), tape measure, writing materials. Optional: Task lamp.
Pliers:
Bentnose, chainnose, flush end-cutting, roundnose, standard flatnose.
Materials in Kit:
Silver-plated silverware; bead caps; charm; 12-, 20-gauge wire; chain.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
