Description:
Make three sparkling, sharable, stackable cuff bracelets, complete with tube set CZs, while practicing the technique of fusing silver to copper.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to fuse sterling to copper, solder tube settings, set stones, patina, and professionally finish these uniquely textured bimetal, cuff-style bracelets. Each student will get three 6-in. copper bracelet blanks, sterling silver and will be able to choose from a variety of colored CZ stones.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Anvil pillow, bench block, hammer, metal files, safety glasses, terry-cloth towel, steel curved burnisher. Optional: Metal stamps, 4 mm stone setting punch, bracelet bending pliers or jig.
Materials in Kit:
Copper bracelet blanks (3), sterling tube sets, scrap silver, CZs, finishing paper, polishing cloth, instructions, studio consumables including pickle, flux, solder, butane, and patina.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
