Description:
This class is a great introduction to torch-fire enameling, but with a twist. Learn how to form sterling silver wire to create your own earring wire for a unique and sophisticated look. You will also learn a similar technique to make your own bail for a pendant.
Students will Learn:
Learn the basics of torch-fire enameling, including how to prepare your metal, how to counter-enamel, and how to mix and blend colors. You will also learn a nifty way to form your own very artsy earring wire and bail.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Pliers:
Basic jewelry-making (roundnose, chainnose, flatnose, flush cutters).
Materials in Kit:
Copper blanks, sterling silver wire, enamels, consumables for use in class.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
