Additional Information
Description:
Fabricate a double sterling silver bangle bracelet with two-sided etched silver spacers. The beads and spacers fill about three inches of space on one of the bangles. The two bangles are attached to one another with a series of folded over bails.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to set wire rivets to connect the two heavy gauge sterling silver wires that are formed into the two bangles. Sterling silver charms are etched on two sides with either free-hand designs or patterns transferred from rubber design mats. One larger silver etched charm will have a tube rivet set as an added embellishment. Coral spacer beads will be drilled with a hollow core bit to fit the wire diameter, and fine-silver wire is balled and formed to create additional spacers.
