Are you feeling lucky? Come design a textured link bracelet and spend the day creating a myriad of silver clay charms that will make you smile, keep you safe, and adorn your wrist in chic fashion. This is a great class for learning how to work with silver metal clay, as well as learning a few specialized techniques for those with some metal clay experience.
Students will Learn:
In this hands-on class, learn a variety of metal clay techniques to enhance your charm-making experience, including personalized fingerprint textures, hot plate keum-boo application, faceted stone setting, and how to make and use silicon molds and embeddable eyelets. The class also includes instruction on basic metalsmith forging and hammering techniques, as well as how to manage the depth of rubber stamp textures and metal stamp imprints.

Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Bench block, chasing hammer, craft knife, flush-cut wire cutters, metal clay roller, metal clay tools, needle tool, paintbrush (flat), paintbrush (pointed), rawhide hammer, ruler, safety glasses, tissue-slicing blade, tweezers, work surface, writing materials. metal clay thickness guides (playing cards, graduated slats, etc.), mini spatula or palette knife, clay shaper, snake/coil roller.

Materials in Kit:
Silver metal clay, sterling silver jump rings, fine-silver wire and/or embeddable eyelets, various metal rings and washers, shared silver clay paste and/or syringe, firing and finishing supplies and materials. Use of tools and equipment, texture plates, molds, and clay cutters, miscellaneous workshop supplies and consumables. ,
