Description:
This charming Cattleya Orchid will always be a conversation piece and will bloom forever. The elegance of three-dimensional sculptural petals are highlighted by golden wire and Swarovski sparkles. The kits will be available in different colors.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to increase and decrease peyote stitch; how to add volume to the flower petals and incorporate beading wire into the design; how to add a brooch/pendant base on the back side of the bead-woven piece.
Prerequisites:
Basic knowledge of peyote.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12-13 beading needles, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp.
Pliers:
Flatnose standard.
Materials in Kit:
Swarovski teardrop pendant, bicones; Toho 11/0, 15/0 seed beads; freshwater pearls; 24k gold-plated Soft Flex wire; crimp beads; brooch/pendant base; leather. A portion of this kit is underwritten by Soft Flex.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
