Additional Information
Make a large statement pendant using soutache. This piece combines the shimmer of metallic soutache cord with a subtle glow from opalescent cabochons and the intense sparkle of Czech crystals. The pendant shows the versatility of using soutache in jewelry making.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to make pendant components with soutache; how to bezel crystal cabochons of different shapes with soutache; how to create flat focal elements using soutache and rhinestone chain; how to use soutache for making tassels with metal chain; how to make sure that the backing of your soutache piece is flawless. Students will receive a print out of the pattern for making the pendant, including step-by-step instructions, and the instructor will share some of her own tips and tricks.

Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, pen, reading glasses, scissors, task lamp, writing materials.
Materials in Kit:
Soutache in 2 colors, high-quality acrylic cabochons (2 pear shapes of different sizes, 1 navette and 1 rivoli), crystal chaton in setting, rhinestone cup chain, metallic ring, faux pearls, 11/0 seed beads, stiff felt, leather, metal chain for the tassel.
