Description:
This unusual beaded bead pendant is a self-supporting structure that has twelve bezeled faces that hold sparkling Swarovski chatons. Students looking for a one-of-a-kind piece will love the unique structure formed by the star-shaped bezels.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to construct a base using a dodecahedron form; how to add embellishments to the constructed base using bezels that invert into star-shaped faces; how to create bezels using various types of beads.
Prerequisites:
Experience with right-angle weave and good tension management.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, awl, beading mat, Fireline 6 lb. test, magnifiers, microcrystalline wax, Optivisors, reading glasses, ruler, scissors, tape measure, task lamp.
Pliers:
Needlenose, standard needlenose.
Materials in Kit:
Japanese seed beads, fire-polished crystals, SuperDuos, Swarovski chatons, findings.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
