Description:
Experience the ease of completing this project by using a riveting hammer or a hammerhead attachment on a flex shaft to create a multilayered, dimensional pendant with rivets. Students will construct one-of-a-kind jewelry using colored pencils to color metal and cold connections -- no soldering.
Students will Learn:
In this beginning metals class, focus will be on construction, assembly, creating a cold connection pin back, and the process of applying colored pencil on copper.
Prerequisites:
Previous metalworking experience a plus.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Fine-tip marker, paper, pen. Optional: Colored pencils.
Materials in Kit:
Copper sheet, patterned brass sheet, wire, colored pencils to share in class, consumables.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
