Description:
To make perfect connections you need to practice. Spend the day sweating, picking, chipping, wiring, and pasting joints until you get comfortable. Students will focus on all of the hard joints and do a little problem solving to find a fresh approach to soldering pins, jump rings, bezels, and putting together unlike pieces, etc. Students are encouraged to bring any of their pieces they would like to resolve.
Students will Learn:
How to refine their soldering skills.
Prerequisites:
Must have previous soldering experience.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Magnifiers, solder pick, mini step mandrel or bezel mandrel.
Pliers:
Chainnose without grooves, flatnose without grooves, flush side-cutting.
Materials in Kit:
Sterling silver bezel wire, stock, chip solder, wire solder; copper stock.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
