Description:
This class is designed to explore a unique venue for beadwork and create a beaded object using multiple bead stitches. Students will create four beaded panels, attach panels to a brass armature, then embellish their finished beaded bowl to highlight its jewel-like appearance.
Students will Learn:
This class encourages students to think outside the box and use their own creativity to bead four panels using texture, design, and color theory. Each panel will be stitched using a paper template guide for size and shape.
Prerequisites:
Peyote stitch, or any stitch student wants to use.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Accent beads, assorted beads (please refer to class picture for ideas and beads used), Fireline 10 lb. test is best, reading glasses, scissors, task lamp, work surface.
Materials in Kit:
Hand-forged brass bowl armature.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
