Description:
Walk the beaded path using handmade components made in Greece. Learn 3-D level beading, bicolor outlining, and capturing a donut focal in a unique way. The stunning natural beauty of this cuff will encourage you to explore your own travel experiences and lay them down into your work. Painting with beads is a great way to express your own views and style, so each piece will be unique.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to uniquely capture a focal with peyote stitch; how to use bicolor lining and edging techniques; dimensional placement of beads; basic bead embroidery stitches.
Prerequisites:
Must know basic peyote stitch.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 12 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#11 beading needles, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, Fireline 6 lb. test, scissors, task lamp.
Materials in Kit:
Foundation, Ultrasuede, Mykonos beads, seed beads, Claspgarten clasp, Swarovski pearls, gemstones, Czech glass beads.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
