Description:
Create a sparkling multi-look bracelet with great versatility. Combine a Swarovski Galuchat and seed beads to obtain different looks. Wear it to highlight the sparkle or the chain look. Can’t decide? You can wear it down the middle to show it all. Learn how to connect parts and components in a way that adds to the intrigue of the piece. A hidden clasp is also a highlight of the bracelet giving it more wearing options.
Students will Learn:
Learn how to create one bracelet with several different looks by combining a variety of stitches and techniques.
Prerequisites:
Must know basic right-angle weave, even count peyote stitch, and herringbone stitch.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, #11 Tulip needle, beading mat, E6000 adhesive, Fireline 6 lb. test, magnifiers, reading glasses, scissors, tape measure, task lamp, work surface. Optional: Metal shears. Instructor will have some to share in class.
Materials in Kit:
Metallic seed beads, palladium or gold-plated Delicas, Czech charlottes, 2 mm true-cuts, Swarovski Galuchat, cup chain, chatons, 2 mm Swarovski crystals, 30-gauge copper, Lacy’s Stiff Stuff, Ultrasuede, magnetic clasps.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
