Imagine the light shining through a stained-glass window with framed panes of glass. This sparkling bracelet is loaded with Swarovski crystals outlined in tiny pearls front and back, then trimmed with more crystals and pearls. This stunning bracelet is quite a statement piece yet comfortable to wear.
Students will Learn:
The foundation of the piece is blocks of right-angle weave (RAW); the embellishment is a form of netting that adds more bling; and the connection of the top to the bottom uses a form of peyote.
Basic weaving experience in any stitch to be able to work while maintaining tension. Helpful if students know basic flat RAW.
Project completion:
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#12 beading needles, beading mat, scissors, task lamp, Fireline 4 lb. test.
Materials in Kit:
Mass of tiny pearls, Elegant Elements clasp, Swarovski crystals in two sizes, 3 mm pearls, metallic seed beads in three sizes.
One seat per person per class.
