Petals of polymer in custom mixed colors, vintage buttons, and textured metal accent pieces form the basis for this mix-n-match project. Finish with a hammered wire bail and these drop pendants are drop dead gorgeous!
Students will Learn:
How to custom mix polymer clay into luscious color palettes; how to form a base flower; and how to securely attach metal components and a wire bail. The benefit of sanding, buffing, and multi-curing techniques will be demonstrated/utilized in class.
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Pasta machine, roller/brayer, work surface (small tile or glass that clay will stick to is best).
Materials in Kit:
Vintage button, 16-gauge wire, tissue blade, imprint tool, wet/dry sandpaper, textured metal disks.
