Description:
Students will use sterling silver, copper, and a “faux silver” focal area to design a necklace that has movement and dimension. Students will also learn cold connections, patinas and simple design concepts.
Students will Learn:
How to use “faux silver”, patinas, and cold connections to design a pendant.
Project completion:
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Anvil, anvil pillow, ball-peen hammer, safety glasses, writing materials, metal shears.
Pliers:
Bentnose, flush side-cutting, long needlenose.
Materials in Kit:
24-gauge copper sheeting, 24-gauge sterling silver sheeting, copper wires, embellishments and beads, patinas.
Limit:
One seat per person per class.
