This bracelet is an undulating peyote stitch project, but what makes it actually do that? Students will learn how to use multiple sizes of seed beads for a wonderful effect, as well as embellishment techniques and how to make a matching toggle.
Students will Learn:
Students will take their peyote stitch to a new level by using multiple sizes and shapes of Toho seed beads. They will embellish their peyote stitch bracelet and make a clasp that can match any of their seed bead projects.
Working knowledge of even count flat peyote stitch.
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#11, #12 beading needles; accent beads; beading mat; Fireline 6 lb. test; reading glasses; sticky notes; task lamp; thread heaven; zappers.
Materials in Kit:
8/0, 11/0, 15/0 Toho seed beads; 11/0 Toho cylinder beads; Toho drop beads; Toho triangle beads; Czech glass pearls; needles. A large portion of the kit is underwritten by TOHO Beads.
