Students will use fire to paint a broad spectrum of color while creating a one-of-a-kind patterned copper canvas. All flame-painted copper will be sealed to preserve the patina before being installed on a pre-made leather cuff.
Students will Learn:
How to create and preserve a flame patina, and create cuffs with the colored metal.
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Butane torch, butane, soldering board, metal shears, metal file, flush cutters, chasing hammer, rubber or rawhide mallet, oval steel bracelet mandrel.
Materials in Kit:
Copper sheet and rivets, leather cuffs.
One seat per person per class.
