Bead embroidery is the focus of this beautiful three component neck piece. Embellish two pieces of filigree, then learn how to attach them to a handcrafted ceramic donut that is “stop-stitch” bezeled. Complete this piece with an embellished fringe and gold chain.
Students will Learn:
Bead embroidery, brick stitch edging and brick stitch; embellishment; how to attach components; color placement and design; and how to work with balancing the components when stitching them together.
Project will not be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 16 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
#11 beading needles, E6000 adhesive, fine-tip marker, head pins, scissors.
Flatnose without grooves.
