Combine macrame and easy leather techniques to create a stunning necklace with an adjustable clasp that can be worn short for a earthy twist on a classic Y-necklace, or long for a contemporary look!
Students will Learn:
We’ll practice the basics of macrame, assemblage, hand-stitching, and design techniques in this small group class with individualized instruction. Work with leather lace and waxed linen cord, gemstone rondelles, large-holed pearls, and metal findings.
Project will be completed in class
Minimum Age Requirement:
At least 18 years old.
Supplies to Bring:
Beading mat, pen, task lamp.
Materials in Kit:
10 mm leather lace, #4 Griffin silk, waxed linen cord, gemstone rondelles, large-hole pearl, leather tassel, textured rings, metal end cone, metal bead with 10 mm hole.
