Hiroko Toda has been fond of handcrafts since she was a little girl. Her late mother taught her how to knit, sew, and embroider. Hiroko has been beading for fifteen years, embroidering with beads for about ten years, and making artificial flowers for five years. She likes beading objects, especially flowers like lilies, callas, hydrangeas, tulips, and cherry blossoms.
She was a 2007 BeadDreams Finalist, 2008 BeadDream First Place in Objects and Accessories, and Best in Show (Flower Bouquet), First Place in Seed Bead Jewely and Runner-up Best in Show (SAKURA).
