Jeri started making lampworked beads in 2007. She saw the technique on HGTV and thought that was neat to be able to play with fire. Then she took her first class with a local lampworker and knew that it was for her. When she was younger she would make beaded jewelry and sell it to a local consignment store. Now she can combine the two; making the lampworked beads and then the jewelry to go with it.
In January 2008,“Bead Trends” published two of her lampworked bead designs. Also in January 2008, she was on TV explaining how she makes beads. In June 2008, she sent in one her bead to be the Library of Congress to have it copywriter. It is now register with the Library of Congress. In April 2014, she received 3rd place in Beads and Jewelry Professional for Glass Craft and Bead Expo. She has a degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University.
