Jill lives and works out of her home studio in Austin, Texas. When she discovered beading for the first time in 2001, a love affair was born. By 2005, Jill was working full-time as a beading instructor, and designing and selling kits and patterns in partnership with her mother, June Wiseman, as Tapestry Beads. She has been published in Bead&Button
magazine, and is the author of "Jill Wiseman's Beautiful Beaded Ropes" published by Lark Crafts in the fall of 2012. She also has a YouTube channel with weekly video releases showing tips, techniques, and projects. Jill specializes in simple but classically beautiful designs for jewelry that is wearable in everyday life.
She is honored to be a national beading teacher at bead shows, bead societies, and bead stores coast-to-coast. Jill is known by her students as a patient teacher with a great sense of humor. Everyone has a ton of fun in Jill’s classes as they make beautiful, unique jewelry. She is known for writing clear and detailed instructions that anyone can follow. Her designs encompass projects for all experience levels, from absolute beginners to experienced beaders.
