Carole Horn is a native New Yorker who worked in a variety of media before becoming obsessed with beads. She hopes that her enthusiasm for beadwork will inspire her students to take new paths for their own creativity.

Carole has taught at the American Craft Museum, the Cooper Hewitt Museum (Smithsonian), the Bead&Button Show, and others. She is the workshop director for the Bead Society of Greater New York. Her work has been exhibited at the Elsa Mott Ives Gallery in New York City and has been shown in The Bead Society of Greater New York exhibition at the American Craft Museum several times. Her work has appeared in “Beading with Brick Stitch,” by Diane Fitzgerald, “Beading with Herringbone Stitch,” by Vicki Star, “The Art & Elegance of Beadweaving,” by Carol Wilcox Wells, “500 Beaded Objects,” by Lark Books, and “Best of Bead&Button #3 - Beadwoven Jewelry.”
