Trajectories: A special exhibit of contemporary glass beadmaking

At this year's Show, the Bead&Button Show and Soft Flex Company are sponsoring Trajectories: An exhibition exploring contemporary glass beadmaking. Visit the exhibit, which will be located near Registration, to see the creative and technological advances in the art of glass-bead making since the early days of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers. Highlights include the contemporary work of approximately 67 artists as well as beads of historical significance from the Bead Museum collection in Glendale, Arizona. Going beyond the confines of technique and material, these artists find inspiration in the natural world and adapt traditional forms into contemporary statements. We are grateful to Soft Flex Company for partnering with us to sponsor this fabulous exhibition. Here are just a few of the 107 works that will be on display in Milwaukee in June. |
