We are again hosting a very large number of glass and lampworking classes. In addition to the Master Class with Andrea Guarino-Slemmons and Michael Barley, we will be scheduling 70 plus related sessions to meet the needs of beginner-to-advanced students from Wednesday, June 8 through Sunday, June 12. These sessions range from fusing of glass, traditional lampworking and various techniques for finishing beads - etching, copper electroforming on beads, drilling, etc. With the exception of the Master Class, the glass and lampworking classes are held on the Show floor located on the 3rd floor of the Frontier Airlines Center. The Show floor classrooms are adjacent to Registration in Show Hall D. |

Lampworking Skill Levels Pay very close attention to the levels of lampworking and register for those matching your skill and experience level. Students must be 18 years of age for open torch (lampworking) sessions. Beginner Student has no prior experience working hot glass. Advanced Beginner Student has had an introductory class in hot-glass bead making on either a hot-head or dual-fuel torch and can make basic beads on their own. Intermediate Student has experience in and outside of class on a dual-fuel torch. Student should be able to readily form beads, work with stringers and other simple decorating techniques with confidence without an instructor. Advanced Student has considerable experience on a dual-fuel torch and can comfortably form a variety of bead shapes. Student should have an understanding of how to keep a form while decorating a bead and should be able to make stringers and apply them in a consistent manner. |

We wish to thank our friends at Arrow Springs, Donna and Craig Milliron, Amanda Crandall, and the staff they send to our Show for the ongoing support they have provided for our glass and lampworking sessions. Without Craig's commitment to our Show, and the lampworking classes in particular, we would not be able to offer these unique sessions at our event. During the Show week, please visit the Arrow Springs staff at Booth Numbers: 943, 945, 947, 1044, 1046, and 1048. |
