Bead Social and Auction Night

Come and chat with old and new friends over coffee and cake, and bring beading projects to show and tell. Join us for a wonderful, casual evening of laughter and fun.

This year's Bead Social is again sponsored by Rio Grande. Please visit their booth while at the Show. Rio Grande will be located in the foyer area near the Bead Dreams display on the 3rd floor of the convention center.

In 2010, we are again combining our Silent and Live Auctions during the Bead Social. Items for the auction will be accepted on Friday, June 11 next to the Bead Dreams display in the foyer area adjacent to 3rd floor Registration. The Silent Auction will take place during the entire Bead Social, and the Live Auction will be held from approximately 9 - 10 p.m.




Enjoy the double benefits of bidding on something extraordinary and making a generous donation to the Medical College of Wisconsin's nationally recognized breast-cancer research program.

Seating is limited. We'll serve cake and coffee and offer a cash bar along with goodie bags from our sponsor Rio Grande.
Auction items include the fabulous beads and art glass from our Friday evening, Lampworking Madness - our Flame On, jewelry, and other donations as part of our Bead Artists Against Breast Cancer fundraising efforts. The Silent Auction will take place during the entire evening. The Live Auction will take place from 9-10 p.m. during the Social. In 2009, we raised over $14,000 at our Show auctions.
The Excellence in Bead Artistry 2010 award will be presented to Leah Fairbanks during the Bead Social.

We'll also give away many door prizes during the evening thanks to the generosity of our sponsor Rio Grande, our faculty, exhibitors, and Bead&Button, BeadStyle, and Art Jewelry magazines.


Tickets for the Bead Social and Auction Night are $10.00 per person and seating is limited. You can order your tickets online starting December 15, 2009. We'll serve cake and coffee and offer a cash bar.
