About the Workshops
Join Cynthia Rutledge in a favorite workshop
From Sunday, June 6, to Tuesday, June 8, 2010 we will offer 100 plus workshops for beginner to advanced beaders and jewelry artists - more than ever before. These in-depth sessions run from one to three days. We've scheduled our workshops with longer hours than our general classes, giving teachers more time to cover a variety of techniques or to focus on an advanced or complex technique.

Workshops typically have fewer students in each session than our regular classes do. This environment allows teachers to spend more time with each student.

Fundamentals in Techniques
Here is an opportunity for beginners to learn a new technique in depth. Choose from our six areas of study: beading, fusing (kiln-formed beads), glass-bead making, polymer clay, wirework, and goldsmithing. The Fundamentals workshops are held over three days giving students the chance to learn a new technique thoroughly from our patient instructors. These courses were designed with the beginner in mind and lay the groundwork for intermediate and advanced study. We consider the Fundamentals workshops the opposite of our Master Classes, but equally intensive in terms of personal and creative growth.
