Where do I eat while attending the show?
The convention and visitors bureau of Milwaukee has prepared an extensive online listing of favorite Milwaukee restaurants. View the dining guide now. |
Here are some suggestions and guidelines for dining while at the show. In addition, The Loose Bead Society of Greater Milwaukee has prepared a favorite restaurant list which will be included in your Show tote bag. |
 Hyatt Hotel
Sarah's Coffee Shop: Enjoy gourmet coffee while munching on a warm cookie or muffin. Yogurts, fresh fruit, bottled water, and other light fare are also available for grab-and-go to class. Sarah's Pantry sells Coca Cola products. Hours: Opens at 6 a.m.
Bistro 333: Located in the main lobby. An array of palm trees gives it a tropical flair. Hours: Opens at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch are available; buffet options and a varied menu. Good choice for a sit-down relaxed lunch.

 Hilton Hotel
The Café: Located in the lower lobby level of the Hilton. This restaurant offers a delicious and reasonable breakfast buffet and a soup and salad buffet for lunch. Menu items are available as well. Hours: Opens at 6:30 a.m. The Café is also open for dinner for light (and reasonable) fare.
Milwaukee ChopHouse: The ChopHouse is a traditional steakhouse with contemporary flair, specializing in tender steaks and fresh seafood. The ChopHouse has received numerous accolades. Hours: Opens at 5 p.m., closed Sunday.
Starbucks Coffee: Corner of 5th Street and Wisconsin Avenue Located on the lower level of the Hilton, this Starbucks is directly across the street from the Frontier Airlines Center on Wisconsin Avenue. Hours: Opens at 6 a.m. This is the closest Starbucks to the convention center. |

 Frontier Airlines Center
There will be a gourmet coffee shop with bakery breakfast items in the morning and salad and sandwiches during lunch periods. It will be open Sunday, June 3, through Tuesday, June 3 until mid afternoon, and remain open until later in the day on Wednesday, June 6, through Sunday, June 10. In addition, regular concession stands will be open near 3rd floor Registration on Wednesday and Thursday. You will be able to purchase coffee in the morning and some limited lunch items.
Food Kiosk Locations: Several vendors will be available beginning on Thursday when the Show floor opens: located at the back of the Show floor, 3rd floor foyer near restrooms, and near Registration. In addition, there will be a gourmet coffee vendor on the 2nd floor near the escalators. Levy Restaurants will offer a greater variety of vegetarian options, salads, yogurts, fresh fruit, and other healthful foods for our attendees this year. The foyer kiosks are often less crowded than the back of the hall stands. |
If you would like to grab a bite before you meet our faculty, we have arranged with Levy Restaurants to have a number of food vendors in the foyer of the Reception ballrooms. Sandwiches, coffee, salads, fruit, ice cream, and a cash bar will be available. The food vendors will open at 7 p.m., one hour before the Reception starts.

A number of our attendees have requested Coca Cola and Diet Coke products. Unfortunately, the Hilton Hotel and the Frontier Airlines Center do not sell Coke products. However, Sarah's Pantry (located in the Hyatt Hotel) does sell Coke products. Please check with your hotel concierge for the closest locations. |
We recommend you bring bottled water with you to class or purchase it from one of the food vendors. Faculty will have water service. |
The Frontier Airlines Center has agreed to let Show attendees bring their own "personal" beverages (such as Starbucks coffee), water, and food into the Center. You are not permitted to bring in large quantities of food that would be served to a group. There is no need to throw out that latte or mocha! |
