Pre-conference Workshops and Fundamentals in Techniques
About the Workshops:
Join Steven James in a new workshop-B151011.
From Saturday, May 30, through Saturday, June 6, 2015, we are offering Master Classes, Fundamentals in Techniques sessions, and more than 100 intensive workshops for beginner to advanced jewelry makers. Master Classes, Fundamentals, and Workshops vary in number of days, so please check the individual sessions.
We’ve scheduled all of our workshops with longer hours than our general classes to give teachers more time to cover a variety of techniques or to focus on an advanced or complex technique. Workshops typically have fewer students in each session than our regular classes giving teachers more time to spend with each student.
To view the most up-to-date hours and dates for our Workshops, please visit our Show Schedule page.
Here is an opportunity for beginners to learn a new technique in depth. Choose from our six areas of study: beading, glass-bead making, polymer clay, metal clay, wirework, and found object jewelry. The Fundamentals workshops are held over three or four days giving students the chance to thoroughly learn a new technique from our patient instructors. These courses were designed with the beginner in mind and lay the groundwork for intermediate and advanced study. We consider the Fundamentals workshops the opposite of our Master Classes, but equally intensive in terms of personal and creative growth.
